BUYER'S DUTIES
 
 

During the escrow process the Buyer is responsible for a number of items. It is important that you read and understand your escrow instructions. If you do not understand them you should contact us as soon as possible. Meanwhile some of the items you will be responsible for are:

  • Approve and sign Escrow Instructions and other related documents required to complete the transaction
  • Secure borrowed funds
  • Approve the Preliminary Title Report and any property disclosure or inspection reports called for by the offer to purchase.
  • Approve and sign new loan documents and fulfill any remaining conditions contained in the offer to purchase liender's instructions and/or Escrow Instructions.
  • Deposit funds necessary to close the escrow; approve any final changes by signing amendments to the Escrow Instruction.
